Sister Lisa Barksdale and Rev. Jake Barksdale, Mark's Tabernacle Members, lived on Lexington Avenue in the house presently owned by Sisters Bertha and Annie Bell Sims.

Stanley L. Gaines

On Sunday, May 5, 2019, Stanley L. Gaines blessed Mark's Tabernacle Baptist Church with his presence on our 121st Anniversary! Stanley's great, great grandfather, Bro. Squire Adams, was one of the original 12 members and the first Sunday School Superintendent at Mark's Tabernacle Baptist Church!. Stanley resides in Atlanta, GA. 

Karen Burton

On Tuesday, July 31, 2019, Karen Burton blessed us with her presence during Mark's Tabernacle Baptist Church's 2019 Revival Services. Karen is the great granddaughter of Mark's Tabernacle's founder (Builder) and first pastor, Rev. C. H. Holloway. After visiting Chicago, Rev. Holloway covered the church and elevated the choir stand. Karen, his great granddaughter currently resides in Lithonia, GA. She has provided additional information to our history!
